After scouring the stalls at Evandale markets a few times, we decided it was time to look at the historical village, which is beautiful.
We enjoyed coffee and cake at Ingelside Cafe in front of a roaring fire and then wandered through the streets and past the Claredon Arms Hotel (beer garden shown). But we found out the best is yet to come – the National Penny Farthing Championship in February (the clue was in the Penny Farthing statue in the town). Guess where we’ll be heading in a few months?
