Last week Harvey and I celebrated our fifth wedding annivesary. Knowing we were going to have a nice dinner together that evening, we celebrated the event with the boys in the morning at one of our favourite Launceston cafes,Cocobean.
Knowing it would be a chocolate overload, we decided to jumo right in – Harvey had a hot chocolate, I had a mocha and we both shared a triple chocolate mousse tasting plate. The kids shared a chocolate milkshake and chocolate teddy bear on a stick. I’m sure you’re not surprised we didn’t eat lunch.
That evening we had a long dinner, starting with three yummy cheeses fromBruny Island Cheese Company – Saint, Pear Wash and Saffron – with a crispPepperjack Grenache Rose. Afterwards Harvey cooked a beautiful Tasmanian scallop, chorizo and tomato salad. What a way to celebrate!
