When I was a child, birthday celebrations always lasted longer than the one day.
By the time you had a party with friends, celebrated with parents and then marked the date with the extended family it could have gone on for days, or even weeks! It seems I have continued this tradition with my own children. Ethan turned two on Thursday and we finished celebrating on Saturday. Here is a photographic record of my littlest man’s second birthday – over three days.
Celebrating with Noah, Mum and Dad on his actual birthday after he came home from day care (where he had another cake with friends and carers).
Teddy bears’ picnic at home on Friday with Noah, Mum, Dad, Mickey Mouse, Hoot, Bear and Russ the Bear.
The owl birthday cupcakes for Ethan’s birthday party – hoot hoot!
The little man striking a pose in his new Elmo outfit before the main event.
